La Musique d'Antan

La Musique d'Antan

'La Musique d'Antan' is a project initiated by viola da gamba player Timothy Lin and harpsichordist Pablo Devigo. Its name translates to 'The Music of Yesteryears,' reflecting their mission to unearth hidden musical gems by 17th-century French composers long overshadowed by time, and transporting audiences to an era of greatness and splendour.

Research is at the core of their creative process, blending artistry and scholarly pursuit. Lin and Devigo meticulously reconstruct pieces silenced by history, aspiring to contribute to the diffusion of this repertoire by creating critical editions and preserving these works through future recording projects.
