Nichola grew up in Manchester and came to London to study viola with James Sleigh at the RAM. In the second year she was given the chance to learn historical viola with Katherine McGillivray then Jane Rogers as a second study and jumped at it! Since graduating she has played with many renowned groups around the uk on both modern and historical instruments, including the wonderful concerts of Fiori Musicali of course, and Spiritato who are also connected here (with whom she sometimes has the exciting opportunity to play tenor viola in earlier repertoire).
