Praised and much sought after for his “dazzling virtuosity” (The Spectator), Tom Foster has a busy career as a continuo player (on organ and harpsichord), as a harpsichord soloist and in recent years, as a conductor.

He is the principal keyboard player with the English Concert. Additionally, he plays regularly as a guest continuo player with Arcangelo, The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, The Academy of Ancient Music, The Sixteen, The Scottish Ensemble, The Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Early Opera Company and The Dunedin Consort.
