Biography
Yorkshire Baroque Soloists was formed in 1973, exactly fifty years ago, by Peter Seymour, Yvonne Seymour and the trumpeter John Wallace to perform a repertoire from the 17th and 18th centuries for vocal and instrumental forces ranging from chamber to orchestral size. The group has performed and recorded in most European countries and has regularly appeared in baroque and classical repertoire in York Early Music Festival.
