Baroque Music by JS Bach and Buxtehude
As smitten as Bach was with the music of his hero Buxtehude, so are we with both their work. Join us if you feel the same! And if you need convincing, we are sure that a jovial evening in the company of these two composers will do the trick.
We look forward to seeing you for a relaxed hour of music and chats about these two great artists. Tickets at the door. Drinks available.
The harmony of the Beehive, the geometry of the honey-comb, and the vibrational dance is mirrored in the counterpoint and melodic invention of two composers whose cross- pollination led to the flowering of a style which defines German music of the High Baroque.
