Pont Baroque

Buffardin in Germany

Buffardin in Germany
The second of our dedicated chamber music concerts in the Plough Chapel features Amsterdam-based Pont Baroque, founded and directed by Welsh cellist Osian Jones. Osian was introduced into the baroque world by Rachel Podger when he was 9 years old when he was invited to play with the festival orchestra. Since then he has played every year and we are delighted to welcome him back with his newly-formed ensemble featuring Riccardo Casamichiela (harpsichord), Alison Lau (soprano), Jonas Krebs (first violin) and Alyssa Wright.

Programme includes music by Buffardin, JS Bach, WF Bach, CP Bach, Quantz and Mahaut.
