Discover the stars of the future as we celebrate the 5th anniversary of our Student Scholars scheme with a journey from the Renaissance to the greatest hits of recent decades, plus iconic works from two of the giants of 20th-century British music. Britten’s immortal tribute to the patron saint of music is heard alongside Howells' Take him Earth for cherishing - dedicated to John F Kennedy, who was assassinated 60 years ago on St Cecilia’s Day.

Purcell Jehovah, quam multi sunt hostes mei
Britten Hymn to St Cecilia
Howells Take him Earth for cherishing
Bacharach Anyone who had a heart
