Full Event Details
Formed in 2015 when studying at the Royal College of Music in London, the Consone Quartet are recent BBC New Generation Artists. Prized for their expressive interpretation of Classical and Romantic repertoire based on a deep understanding of the music and its time, we are delighted to welcome this dynamic young group for its first Mozartfest concert. They will begin with Haydn, from his earliest London period, and then be joined by Kristian Bezuidenhout, one of the most exciting contemporary keyboard artists, for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 13 and the composer’s Quintet for piano and winds, K452 arranged for strings by Carl Ernst Naumann.
