Golden Sonatas
Following the success of its spring performance at the College, Ensemble Augelletti returns with a glittering selection of Baroque gems. Ensemble Augelletti is the 2023–25 New Generation Baroque Ensemble supported by the RCM, BBC Radio 3 and the National Centre for Early Music. The group has attracted widespread acclaim for performances of 'exquisite sensitivity, a refined tone and perfect balance between the instruments' (Early Music Review).

This programme includes Purcell's glorious Golden Sonata for two violins and keyboard, and a Vivaldi sonata based on the ancient tune La Follia.

Vivaldi Sonata no 12 in D minor RV 63 'La Follia'
