Ibrahim Aziz shares a brief history of the viola da gamba and performs works that takes the audience from the beginning of the instrument's life to its end, and also to its afterlife.

Ibrahim Aziz plays modern and early music on the viola da gamba. He is a member of Chelys and the Rose Consort of Viols and occasionally appears on his own as a solo player. Recent engagements include performances in Ireland, Germany and Malaysia where he performed two concertos with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
