Full Event Details
Performed in the round, this will be a ground-breaking immersive performance, with the audience at the heart of the drama. This performance is the result of decades of experience by some of the world’s most experienced Bach performers and scholar and draws from Bettina Varwig's ground-breaking research on how music affected listeners in Bach's time. We bring Bach's work to life in a way that transcends the boundaries of traditional performance, placing the audience at the heart of the musical drama by engaging them in mind, body, and spirit. Audiences are invited to engage with all their senses: listening, singing, and feeling the music's full affect, as performers move fluidly throughout the space. This is music that shocks, sweetens, and transforms—presented in a way that amplifies its emotional impact for everyone involved.
