Join us to celebrate the launch of our CD, featuring English 17th century music for two historical bass viols and continuo. We are delighted to present highlights from our new CD, including dances and divisions by John Jenkins, Daniel Norcombe, Christopher Simpson and William Young, plus pieces for guitar and continuo by Nicola Matteis. This is a very special opportunity to see and hear our two wonderful original English viols by John Pitts (1675) and Edward Lewis (1703), playing music that their original owners might have played and heard.

There will be a drinks reception afterwards during which you are welcome to meet and chat with the artists and to ask us questions about the instruments and the project, and CDs will be available for purchase.
