Rotations

The past years have made us reconsider our relationship to space and time, both in a literal and virtual sense. This process of reflection inspires the concept of "Rotations": based on Jan Rokus van Roosendael’s “Rotations” for solo recorder (1988) and through contemporary music for recorder and accordion, the project reaches out to embrace present, past and future – in search of capturing a fleeting moment, melody and movement, we dream, remember, live, love, choose and hope.
