The Portrait Players present a programme centered around the veiled expressions of love in 17th and 18th century London, Rome and Paris. Music inspired by 'seduction dialogues' - (a real literary genre!), a smattering of madness and a lot of longing! Music by d'Ambruis, le Camus, Corbetta, Handel, Marais and Purcell.
