Full Event Details
This intimate and atmospheric concert brings together music spanning hundreds of years, united by a common sense of soft-edged, delicate but resonant beauty. Lutenist composers John Dowland and Robert Johnson represent the zenith of the English Renaissance, with their 400-year-old dances and fantasies interwoven here with transcriptions of Erik Satie’s dream-like, genre-defying dances and Blue, a new commission by Laura Snowden for this project.
