The Continuo Collection | 2025 Albums - Outstanding recordings supported by Continuo Foundation
Recordings supported by Continuo Foundation released in 2025.

As the year comes to a close, we wished to celebrate the twelve early music recordings (11 albums and a music video) released in 2025 which benefited from support from Continuo Foundation. These recordings have received wonderful reviews and awards, and with this playlist, we wish to highlight the remarkable breadth and quality of the work created by the ensembles we support.

Ranging from Henry Purcell to Barbara Strozzi, Maurice Greene to Dario Castello and much more, the playlist spans a wide spectrum of Early Music, alongside compelling new commissions from Nico Muhly, inspired by the music and the death of Orlando Gibbons, and Jonny Mansfield, responding to particular Bach trio sonatas.
