The York Early Music Festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award honours major figures who have made a significant difference in the world of early music. The 2025 winner is singer and broadcaster Catherine Bott who will be presented with her award by festival artistic advisor Lindsay Kemp.

The Lifetime Achievement Award will be followed by a live hour long broadcast of the popular Early Music Show – featuring selected guests from the Festival. Presented by Hannah French.
