I Fagiolini’s performance as part of Memory Unwrapped is a launch concert for their new recording of Monteverdi’s iconic 1610 Vespers, which is also set to be released in September 2026. I Fagiolini’s iconic version (and new recording) strips back this great work to reveal new elements of its sonic glory.  Raw Italian power, utterly intimate miniatures, full of filigree ornamentation and astounding emotional depth. The last time I Fagiolini performed the Vespers at Kings Place it was declared ‘Off-the-charts brilliant … utterly enthralling’ (Arts Desk).

Don’t miss this celebrated group performing it live in their 40th anniversary year, featuring renowned Monteverdi singers such as Nicholas Mulroy, Matthew Long, Julia Doyle, Ciara Hendrick and more. Performing alongside the English Cornett and Sackbut Ensemble, it will be a feast for the senses.
