About

Across the Autumn, LSO St Luke's hosts three Baroque chamber concerts, each expertly curated by BBC Radio 3.

On 3 October, period instrument ensemble Forma Antiqva open the series with a selection of sonatas by prolific composer and multi-instrumentalist Georg Philipp Telemann.

Cellist Victor Julien-Laferrière and harpsichordist Justin Taylor join forces for an exploration of the Italian Baroque, with music by Geminiani, Marcello and Vivaldi, and two of Bach’s own arrangements of their music, in an early-evening recital on 3 October.

Bringing the series to a close on the 21 November, regular duo partners Lucie Horsch and Rachel Podger journey through the Baroque, from sonatas and duets to folk tunes and country dances.
