The Tetbury Music Festival is an annual chamber music festival founded in 2003 by Graham Kean and Elise Smith OBE. His Majesty King Charles III is the Festival's patron. From the very beginning, the festival has welcomed the finest classical musicians to the heart of the Cotswolds. Previous performers include Pavel Kolesnikov, Julian Bliss, Felicity Lott, Thomas Allen, Ben Grosvenor, Angela Hewitt, Radu Lupu, Mark Padmore, Tenebrae, The Sixteen, Sarah Connolly, Rachel Podger, Voces8 and many more. The concerts take place each October, lit by candlelight in the glorious setting of St Mary's Church whose fine acoustic is admired and enjoyed by performers and audiences alike.

This year's Festival runs from Saturday, September 28 to Sunday, October 6 and features Imogen Cooper, Jonathan Cohen, Vilde Frang, Julia Doyle, the forces of Arcangelo, Polyphony conducted by Stephen Layton, Tom Poster, Amy Harman and the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective and Craig Ogden.

The Festival is planned and run by a volunteer Board of music lovers with a wide range of skills who are committed to supporting the arts in the region. They are led by Chairman Christopher Rose who ensures the smooth running of the operation as a whole, and Festival Director Caz Weller Knight who produces the Festival itself.

Co-founder Elise Smith remains closely involved as President, and Artistic Director Jonathan Cohen has guided the programming since 2013 when he took over from the Festival's first Artistic Director, Steven Isserlis.
